Morton Municipal Building. This was Morton's post office until 1976 when the new post office was completed.

This building located at 117 W Jefferson Street in downtown Morton was home to Dietrich Furniture for many years. I worked at the store from 1965-1967 delivering furniture while I was in high school. The owner, Sam Dietrich, was the best boss I ever had!

The annual Morton Pumpkin Festival is held every September. Libby's canning factory cans much of the world's pumpkins right here in Morton.

Downtown Morton early on a Sunday morning. The light colored building in the background was the location of Morton State Bank for many years.

This is the original Morton United Methodist Church on Carol Street. This church was built in 1947 and served as the Methodist Church until a couple of years ago when a new church was built.

This is an old grain elevator at Roth Grain located on S. Main Street in downtown Morton.

This is a view of North Main Street looking south. Morton is my hometown - I have lived here since 1950.
